SAY Youth at work at the Tolay Fall Festival
The Tolay Fall Festival is a destination for thousands of youth each day during the month of October, and crew members from SAY’s YouthLink department worked hard to help set up and staff the event each morning.
Crew members help set up activities, including wool threading, corn husk doll making, candle making and more. The nighttime creatures barn offers a spooky atmosphere for kids to learn about owls, snakes, spiders, and all sorts of creepy (and environmentally important) animals. Tolay Festival activities also include a pumpkin patch, sack races, and hay maze, which was staffed by our SAY crew.
The SAY youth crew is generously funded by the Sonoma County Human Services Department Employment & Training Division through the Workforce Investment Board and the Sonoma County Youth Ecology Corps.
