Breaking Ground at the SAY Dream Center!
This week was a momentous one for the SAY Dream Center campaign: we officially broke ground at the SAY Dream Center campus!
Over 150 supporters joined SAY’s Board of Directors in celebrating the achievement, and guests enjoyed cookies, milk, and tours of the construction site. Folks were also given the opportunity to leave their mark on the Dream Center by signing a board that will be used in the construction process. Sonoma County Supervisors Susan Gorin and Shirlee Zane both spoke at the ceremony, along with SAY board president John Meishlahn, Sutter’s Mike Purvis, Nina Felciano, a former client of SAY, and Antonio, a resident of SAY’s Tamayo Village.
We are honored by the support the Dream Center campaign has received to date, and it was wonderful to gather together to celebrate the progress we have made. This will be the last winter without the Dream Center, and we’re grateful to the entire community for supporting our mission of helping youth and families as we expand our services at the SAY Dream Center.
