SAY Dream Center Grand Opening Weekend!

SAY Dream Center Grand Opening Weekend!

On Friday March 11, SAY hosted a reception at the SAY Finley Dream Center to celebrate our founder circle – the donors who pledged over $100,000 to help SAY build our new campus. Mike Cohill from Sutter Health gave a toast to SAY, and Connie Codding, who co-chaired our capital campaign spoke about what inspired her to get involved, before Cameron, who lives in an SAY housing program told the crowd about the life lessons he’s learned while living with us, and about his journey towards finding a career pathway and also his passion for repairing cars.

On Saturday, March 12, despite heavy rain, over 1,000 people joined us at the SAY Finley Dream Center for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and tours during our Open House event! Our speakers that day included Santa Rosa Mayor John Sawyer and Sonoma County Supervisor Shirlee Zane, who presented a Proclamation and Gold Resolution at the ceremony. The ribbon was cut by Cameron, and several other SAY youth and alumni.

Crowds stayed warm with Taylor Maid Farms King Ridge Foundation Premium Blend Coffee, and learned more about SAY’s partnership with the King Ridge Foundation. If you missed your opportunity to join us that day, we hope that you’ll sign up for one of our monthly tours – click here for upcoming dates!
