Advocates at SAY Soirée Raise $400,000 to support housing, counseling, and career services for youth
On Saturday, April 13th more than 300 caring adults gathered at Courthouse Square in downtown Santa Rosa to attend our annual fundraiser, SAY Soirée.
The evening began with a beautiful reception that invited guests to engage with multi-media installations that showcased SAY’s services. The event continued inside the tent with a gourmet dinner and mission-driven live auction and Fund a Future, led by Senator Mike McGuire. We ended our evening of advocacy with a free benefit concert for all community members to enjoy featuring local favorites, Kingsborough!
This sold-out event raised $400,000 of critical unrestricted revenue to support SAY’s housing, counseling, and career services for homeless, vulnerable, and at-risk youth in Sonoma County. Of the funds raised, $160,000 was generated by paddle raises during the Fund A Future portion of the evening! This was largely made possible by an double match at the $1,000 level by SAY’s Board of Directors and Bret Martin and the Martin Family Trust.
SAY Soirée was made possible by more than 300 donors, 121 volunteers, 51 sponsors and supporting partners, and of course our amazing caring staff members that work with our young people every day. See below for a gallery of photos from our evening together!
